Wisdom comes from prayer and listening...
"That's perfectly normal at this age for any child. The only difference there between typically developing kids and kids with developmental issues, is that the TDKs don't have these tests and aren't expected to perform on command. I truly think that the methods of testing kids during transition are totally lame. They would get much more accurate results if they just came in and observed during EI playgroup."
Ah that helped my heart. And another...
"I do know the hurt it causes us mommas when we get the "report" from the eval's. I could really get sad and eat two bags of double stuff Oreo's (like I did last week) OR, I can take what the "report" says and make it a possitive. Just think of all the help they will get at school. Thats how I chose to think."
There were many comments that helped me realize that as much as I wanted Ty to be on top of everything 1) he is not! and 2) he will test as he will test...and I will work to get him what he needs.
Now am I ready to get the report from the eval? Get the oreo cookies ready!!

Halleluiah! Praise God, he works fast for those who listen with an open heart, well done, it’s not easy when your hurting. I couldn’t agree more, about how our typical children don’t’ have these tests. Wouldn’t there be an uproar then lol. Your proof that we can handle it with Gods grace.
Well you sound so ready, I don’t think I will try those oreo cookies. I noted they have made there way to our shores here in Australia, having entered my mouth yet lol
